ACPCultures is financing 6 projects in different cultural domains for a total of 2.2 millions euros.

Our Call for Proposals (EuropeAid/127205/D/ACT/Multi) was launched on 30th July and closed on 28th November 2008.

Out of 63 proposals received, 6 Multi-annual cooperation projects have been selected for funding by an Evaluation Committee following an evaluation undertaken by thematic experts.

The 6 ACPCultures projects cover over 34 ACP partnered cultural operators and more than 20 ACP countries, covering the 6 geographic and linguistic regions of the African, Caribbean and Pacific zone.

Particular attention has been paid to support and consolidate exchanges, cooperation and economic linkages between ACP cultural operators at intra-ACP level (South-South cooperation).
